Maintenance request
We try to keep things ticking over nicely but sometimes it is unavoidable when things do go wrong. Please submit a request using the button below if you have any issues at your property that need to be addressed.
REQUIREments
Here are some of the things that you would be expected to provide or to do before any offer of tenancy is made. Some of these happen later in the process, but are included here to give you a feel of what is needed throughout and to give you a head start in getting them ready.
- Pay slips for the last 3 months for each tenant 18 or over
- The last 3 months bank statements for each tenant
- Proof of address such as utility bill or council tax statement
- Photo ID for each tenant
- Reference checks
- Financial vetting checks
- Right to Rent check
Deposits:
- A holding deposit equal to 1 weeks' rent after viewing to allow checks to be conducted, which removes all adverts for the property online. If we decide not to proceed at this point, you get your deposit back. If you decide not to proceed, we retain the deposit.
- Once all checks are complete and you decide to go ahead with the property, a tenancy deposit equal to one months' rent. By law this then must be registered by us with a government approved scheme within 30 days to ensure it is safeguarded, and then returned at the end of the tenancy as long as all obligations have been met.
- Fees and deposits are covered in law under the Tenant Fees Act 2019.
